Jayam Ravi Next film with Prabhu Deva

The Prabhu Deva prabu-devachoreographer turned actor turned director will work in this one for Kalpathi Agoram’s AGS Entertainment. After his big Bollywood success through ‘Wanted’, Prabhu Deva who was expected to direct a Hindi film next has chosen Tamil. Sources had it that the official announcement of the project will be out soon.

Actually the project is suppose to have Vishal in the lead but, as the actor is roped in for Bala’s untitled project, Jayam Ravi was fixed. Now we might get another Police story from the director. The sources say that we can see Ravi as a police trainee in this one.

Upcoming 2009 Diwali Movie Release In Hindi:

Himesh Reshammiya’s third film as an actor Kajraare, a T-Series’ production is all set to be a Diwali release. Directed by actress Pooja Bhatt the film stars opposite Himesh, Pakistani actress Mona Laizza apart from Amrita Singh and Gulshan Grover. The release date for the film is scheduled as October 16th.

On the same day two more biggies are slated for release, thats Hrithik Roshan – Barbara Mori – Kangana Ranaut starrer Kites and Ajay Devgan’s home production All The Best staring Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Mugdha Godse along with Ajay himself. With big mega budget like Kites and All The Best, we just hope that this Diwali will be a crackers for fans.

It has been confirmed that Surya’s ‘Aadhavan’ will be released on Diwali. The other contender for the show is jayam ravi ‘Peranmai’ which will go along with more prints. Last to join the race is Namitha starrer ‘Jagan Mohini’ which is the remake of old classic film Jagan Mohini.

Bollywood actor Rajesh Khanna lit the traditional lamp to Begin Ninth All-India Film Employees Federation Conference

The Deputy Minister of Information &Broadcasting Jagathrakshakan, director K Balachandar and a host of other technicians and actors were present at the venue during the inaugural ceremony. The event was marked with the Bollywood actor Rajesh Khanna being awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement award. This award was presented by Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan. Earlier, Rajesh Khanna lit the traditional lamp to mark the beginning of the three-day conference and cultural fest.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced Cricket World Cup 2011 Group

logo-2011The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced Cricket World Cup 2011 Group on Wednesday after a Board meeting.

Cricket World Cup 2011 Group consist of Group A and B.

India has been placed in Group B while Australia placed in Group A.

Group A:

Australia, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Canada and Kenya

Group B:

India, South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Ireland and Netherlands.

Apart from this, the meeting also discussed ways to promote cricket and decided to have more research on the concept of day/night Tests.

These awards were given away for performances between August 2008 and August 2009. The winners were selected by an elite panel that included Clive Lloyd, Anil Kumble, Mudassar Nazar, Stephen Fleming and Bob Taylor.

Ilayathalapathi Vijay’s 50th Tamil film Sura: Story Line

sura_vijays-filmVijay’s 50th  film Sura is rumored as  a remake of Malayalam super star Mohanlal’s Chota Mumbai (2007), directed by Anwar Rasheed. Sura is being directed by S.P. Rajkumar and produced by Sangili Murugan, But director S.P. Rajkumar has refused to reveal anything on the film’s storyline.

Vijay will have Tamannaah as a heroine. AlThough Vijay still has a song to be completed for his forthcoming release Vettaikaran, he has already started working for Sura, being shot across the coastal areas of Kerala. Set in the backdrop of Fort Kochi and Mattancherry area, Chota Mumbai tells the story of a few happy fishermen from Chotta Mumbai Street.
