My Endhiran movie view: Super Mega Hit

Super start Rajinikanth the biggest entertainer that India has produced. Watching Endhiran one feels no doubt whatsoever that no one other than Rajnikanth could have pulled off this character.

Super start Rajinikanth scores exuding brilliance and charisma in every frame. Yes, there are the trademark styles and mannerisms, but Rajnikanth transcends style and goes one better with Endhiran. By this movie rajini may get many awards especially best villan and hero. The main focal point of the performance is definitely the robot Chitty.

Absolutely there is no one who can come even close when playing a devilish destroyer except rajini. The outrageous and maniacal laugh as he proclaims his invincibility is a masterpiece. It makes us to go back to those days of Rajnikanth the villain.

As expected, technical aspects of Endhiran are top notch. Special effects are world class except a few occasions here and there as they have been done by the best in the business, Stan Winston Studios and Industrial Light and Magic.

The sheer effort that has gone into the CGI work is humungous.

After Mangatha and Billa 2 it is Chandramukhi 2 for Ajith

Ajith’s 50th film Mangatha which recently began with a pooja. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, who direct this film. The movie will have multi starts.

Ajith next move in race is Billa 2. Director Vishuvardhan almost ready with the final script of Billa 2 and the film will go on floors in early 2011. Nirav Shah, the man behind the stylish shots in Billa, will handle the camera again.
Recently Ajith being approached by director P Vasu for the sequel of Chandramukhi has many film personalities and movie buffs surprised. Report that several biggies in the tinsel town called and congratulated Ajith on being considered for the role, more so because its Kannada version turned out to be a mega hit.

IS Boss Engira Baskaran Hit or flop? My verdict:- Super hit

Boss Engira Baskaran, directed by Rajesh, has opened to a tremendous response and the film is on its way to become a super-hit. BEB’s lead pair Arya and Nayanthara

A good start is half the job done and Rajesh seems to have concentrated real hard on the dialogues. As a result, the hollow screenplay is tactfully saved from plunging into the depths of action-less monotony. Although the movie stretches itself without any effort by the sheer success of the dialogues, Santhanam’s spontaneity stands out in the process and it renders the movie a definite thrust.

Santhanam is a riot and if there’s a full paisa vasool feeling after you watch this movie, attribute it to him. His wisecracks, one-liners with and without intended puns and the constant ‘Nanbenda’ are takeaways in what would have otherwise been a bland fare of mushy romance.

My views: Go and watch the movie you will be in state of joy and will tell the word Nanbenda

The audio launch of Robot, the Hindi version of Enthiran

The audio of Robot, the Hindi version of his much awaited Sci-fi flick Enthiran, was released yesterday in Mumbai. Superstar Rajinikanth and BIG B graced the function. Bollywood Star Amitabh Bachchan released the audio CD and presented the first copy to Rajinikanth.

Director Shankar said It is an Indian film because it brings together best creative talent from India and abroad.

Superstar Rajinikanth Speaking at the event said Amitabh is his inspiration, role model and guru. I and Amitabh have done films like Andha Kanoon, Giraftar, Hum together and I can never forget the love, affection and care he showered on me.

In return to Rajni’s comments, Amitabh Bachchan said that i had a long association with Rajini and values him as a friend and colleague. He is truly a son-of-the-soil who is admired and loved by every Indian. Given his humble beginning, Rajini is an example for every Indian. His simplicity, honesty, and down-to-the-earth nature have always impressed me
I admire him because of his tender heart and humility.

Endhiran audio launch function to be telecast in august 15th 2010 on SUN TV

The Endhiran audio launch function was held in kualalampur, malaysia. Everyone expected that sun tv will launch the live relay of the live function. But it is not live in india. They are telecasting the program on august 15th 2010. But the show was telecasted live in malaysia in the Astro Vaanavil channel.

The audio launch event was peppered with onstage dance performances, screening of songs, trailer and speeches. Endhiran’s music is scored by double Oscar winner A R Rahman and the audio hit the shelves yesterday at audio stores and was available for listening online as well.

There are 7 songs in the Endhiran audio CD and the entire album has a Techno feel to it, probably Rahman’s decision on the composition given the sci-fi nature of the film.

Shankar-Rajini Combination along with AR Rahman and Aiswarya with the budget ranging from 165 to 200 crores and one doesn’t need to explain the expectation level for this mega budget venture.
