IPL 5 will have Prabhu Deva, Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra to open the ceremony

This year the opening ceremony of the IPL 5 is a gala event with the biggest stars from the country performing for the fans.

Prabhu Deva dance will be the grand finale of the show. If this was not enough of a treat, Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra will be performing with him.

Prabhu Deva is practising his moves and will be dancing for some of the biggest hits in his career. Amitabh Bachchan will be hosting this memorable show. IPL 5 could not ask for a bigger or better start to this season.

This year is going to be special as none other than Prabhu Deva, India’s answer to Michael Jackson will be performing at the opening ceremony to be held on April 3rd at the YMCA grounds in Chennai.

Prakash Raj takes home the best actor national award from President of India- Shri Pratibha Patil

In a glittering ceremony at the Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi held on October 21st, 2009 the President of India, Shri Pratibha Patil honored the national award winners by handing over the coveted awards. About 55 national awards were announced a few days ago and all of them were distributed on October 21st, 2009. singer Manna Dey was honored with the Dada Saheb Phalke award. Prakash Raj takes home the best actor award for his role in ‘Kanchivaram’. Prakash Raj gets the prestigious award for the second time, the first being for his role in Iruvar in a supporting role.

The winner of the best actor award, Prakash Raj, was present in person to receive the same. Producer Shailendra Singh and director Priyadarshan jointly received the award for the best film, Kanchivaram. The Kannada actress Uma Shree was honored with the best actress award.

Upcoming 2009 Diwali Movie Release In Hindi:

Himesh Reshammiya’s third film as an actor Kajraare, a T-Series’ production is all set to be a Diwali release. Directed by actress Pooja Bhatt the film stars opposite Himesh, Pakistani actress Mona Laizza apart from Amrita Singh and Gulshan Grover. The release date for the film is scheduled as October 16th.

On the same day two more biggies are slated for release, thats Hrithik Roshan – Barbara Mori – Kangana Ranaut starrer Kites and Ajay Devgan’s home production All The Best staring Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Mugdha Godse along with Ajay himself. With big mega budget like Kites and All The Best, we just hope that this Diwali will be a crackers for fans.

The ‘Diwali’ fever has started waving around the Tamilnadu. Everyone can now get ready for the deals of buying new cloths and crackers and food items for their festival, it’s all about filmy mania that strikes them.
