The International Indian Film Academy(IIFA)- Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shines with IIFA Awards
Almost Around 500 Bollywood personalities and an 8,000-strong audience reportedly flown in from all over the world to attend the ceremony at Macau. All the winners, except Farah and Jason, were present at the event.
In the technical awards category, ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ swept through the award function with Ballu Saluja bagging Best Editing award, Nitin Chandrakant Desai got the Best Art Direction award, Neeta Lulla for Best Costume Design.
Resul Pokkutty, who made history by winning an Oscar for his work in Slumdog Millionaire , bagged the Best Sound Recording Award for Aamir Khan starrer Ghajini with Amrit.
The Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer ‘Jodhaa Akbar won maximum awards at The International Indian Film Academy(IIFA) on Saturday in Macau.
Double Oscar award winner A R Rahman won the Best Music Director award for ‘Jodhaa Akbar’, Javed Akhtar grabbed the trophy for Best Lyrics category for ‘Jodhaa Akbar’.
Former Miss World Aishwarya Rai -Bachchan got the prestigious Special Award for Global Impact. Abhishekh Bachchan won the Best Comedian award for Dostana.
Shreya Ghoshal got the Best Female Playback singer for ‘Singh is Kinng’
Jason West for ‘Rock On!’ grabbed best Cinematographer award, while Best Choreography award went to Farah Khan for her song Desi girl from ‘Dostana’.
Yesteryear superstar Rajesh Khanna was honored with the Life Time Achievement Award at the function.

Sun TV Network has appointed Ajay Vidyasagar as CEO
Ajay Vidyasagar was the President of STAR India. Ajay Vidyasagar played a key leadership role in Star television broadcasting business while aggressively working to develop new initiatives. He has over twenty years experience in brand management, content creation, the company said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange.
He has been responsible for numerous new initiatives that include affiliate relationships with brands like Disney and Hungama, merchandising and interactive media business.
Sun TV Network said it has appointed Ajay Vidyasagar as Chief Operating Officer of the company with immediate effect.
Sun TV Network, a leading television broadcaster in the country, operates 20 satellite television channels across four languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Currently, it airs 42 FM radio stations across the country.

Manchester United accepted an £80 million bid for Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid
Totally surprised by the news that Manchester United have accepted an £80 million bid for Ronaldo from Real Madrid
Manchester United has always denied that such a deal existed. It wouldn’t have been too good to refuse last summer, but another year into a contract that ends in 2012 means that Ronaldo’s value will have fallen. The perception is that even such a great player will not be able to repeat his performances between 2006 and 2008 and he was not quite as effective last season.
Ronaldo has also indicated that he has wanted to join Real in three of the past four seasons. In explaining their decision to sell, United will probably portray him as wanting to leave the club rather than that they wanted to sell him.
The club’s annual net transfer spend is £25 million so in theory this will be boosted to £105 million. However, it is not that simple. We don’t know if the fee will have certain conditions attached. It could be that United have to spread the money over four or five years.
United’s problem is that they will have to replace Ronaldo with not one but two new players: a brilliant winger and a prolific goalscorer. United might consider are Valencia’s David Villa and Karim Benzema, the Lyons striker.
It is unlikely that Ronaldo’s move would mean that United will sign Carlos Tevez permanently as the club.

Trip Filled with Fun and Refreshness
Last Monday we planned for a trip to Pondicherry. Usually we use to plan a lot for a trip but nevertheless it has worked out. But I had a feeling that this plan was organized well. As per our plan all my friends gathered at bus stand. We then boarded a bus to Pondicherry.
We reached Pondicherry by 5pm. Then we all headed towards the prestigious Gandhi beach and had lots of fun, just the same thing we usually do. We took some interesting photographs at the beach.
The clock ticked 8pm; we went to a hotel and had our dinner. We booked a room and stayed there for the night. We then noticed the sun rays striking our face, it was 7am.
We again started from that place and went to Annai Ashram, Consecrate place of mother Annai which refreshes our thoughts and feelings. I am ardent follower of Annai. Then we made our visit to temples, parks and other sight seeing places. The trip was filled with full of joy and those will remain as memorable days of my life.

Trick used by Fishermen
Hi Friendz! Yesterday, myself and my friends went to beach which is located 14 kms away from my area. This weekend we had more plans for enjoyment but we ended up in beach…
After arriving to the beach, two of my friends stared jogging. But I had another idea. I took up the phone and started to take some beautiful pictures of the beach. It was quite interesting. I had great fun while taking the photo stuffs. Then we all had a chance to watch the trick used by fishermen in trapping the fishes.
Wow!! It was very interesting… and nice trick.
